Currently, I am studying English Studies, History, Politics and Society and Philosophy for Teaching at Secondary schools as well as Languages, Cultures and Music at the University of Munich (LMU). My historical interests focus around war crimes of the Japanese Imperial Army as well as security cooperation between Japan and South Korea. Both topics first sparked my interest during my study abroad at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea in 2022. In July I finished my study abroad program called Japan in Today ’s World at Kyushu University in Fukuoka. As an intern at the DIJ, I assist Torsten Weber with his research and in the field of public relations. After my internship I will return to Munich to finish my studies and proceed with my graduation thesis about the impact of Japanese historical revisionism on the Japanese-Korean security relationship.
