I completed my studies in Social Sciences at University College Roosevelt, affiliated with Utrecht University. During my time in the Netherlands, I was a member of the Green Office, an initiating actor in advocating for sustainability within the student body and on an institutional level. This fall I will pursue a master’s degree in “Changing Societies” at the University of Basel. I am particularly interested in the DIJ’s research cluster “Sustainability and Resilience” and in how communities deal with societal and demographic shifts. During my internship at the DIJ, I assist Sebastian Polak-Rottmann with his research on these themes in rural Japan.
